After I got the idea for this bed I just couldn’t wait to make it. I messed up on one of the measurements on the first one and had to recut some of the pieces on my Cricut. I figured since I was cutting I may as well cut enough for another one that I could do a better job putting together so I can sell it. Then this morning I got the idea to do one in 1:12 scale.
I spent today painting all the pieces and putting them together. The painting took a long time because the paint was a bit thin and wasn’t wanting to cover the chipboard. I had to do about 5 coats. Next time I will have to put a primer on it before I paint.
I was surprised that I didn’t struggle to put it together since it is so small. But it doesn’t have a lot of pieces to it, so that is probably why.
Now, I have to find material and make a mattress and bedclothes.
